  • How do I prepare for a facial treatment?
There are many ways to prepare yourself for a facial treatment. We love when our patients have a full list/ photo of all current skin care products so we know what is currently in your routine. To make sure our best options for treatment are possible, please discontinue use of any Vitamin A topical solutions (Retinols, Retin-A, Trentinoin) at least 4 days before our treatment. To prep the skin for Acidic Treatments like a Chemical Peel or our MicroPeel, discontinue use of any at home exfoliants for at least 4 days before treatment as well. To maintain skin health in any treatment course, facial sun protection application (and reapplication) is ALWAYS advised. Lastly, make sure you update your Pre Screen form, and your Health History + Consent form in your Patient Portal prior to your appointment
  • How often should I update my forms?
When preparing for a treatment, it's important that we can see the whole picture behind your skin. The body's story is written on our skin like a diary, and we should treat it holistically. Your Health History form is valid for 6 months at a time and should be filled in at least at that frequency. If anything changes in your health (conditions, medication, etc.), please update your Health History Profile when that happens. To keep our patients and therapists safe, we require patients to fill out a Pre Screen Health Declaration each time before entering our office. This form must be completed within the 24 hour period prior to any appointments.
